Few teaching hospitals embrace and support the principles of Osteopathic Medicine as well as UHS. Here, you will be encouraged to maintain your identity as an Osteopathic physician and develop the skills that make your training unique:
- Multiple weekly OMT clinics
- OMM lectures every week
- OMM inpatient service
- NYS Licensed Osteopathic residents meeting academic requirement are given the opportunity to moonlight in the OMT clinic in their second and third years of residency.
- Academic appointment with the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.
- Our Family Medicine and Internal Medicine programs are dually accredited by both the AOA and the ACGME, so you can become boarded by both the AOA and ABFM or ABIM.
