Daniel Young, MD

Dr. Young, a lifelong resident of the Binghamton area, received his Bachelors degree from Binghamton University and his medical degree from Upstate Medical Center at Syracuse. He is very pleased to be returning to his residency program as Director after 20 years in clinical practice. Dr. Young is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and was named fellow by the American Academy of Family Practice. He is associate professor at Upstate Medical Center, a member of the Broome County Child Advocacy Centerís medical team and Director of the STD clinic at the Broome County Health Department. Dr. Young has been very active in medical society activities. He holds leadership positions in the Broome County Medical Society, the Medical Society of the State of New York and serves as a delegate to the American Medical Association.

Dr. Young enjoys golf, hiking the Finger Lakes Trail and performing magic. He and his wife, Carol, have four children. Their eldest attends New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and the others are attending colleges in New York State.
