Applicants for residency at UHS Wilson Medical Center must complete an application through ERAS (Electronic Residency Application System). Deadline to apply is December 31.
Completed application includes:
- Personal Statement
- Curriculum Vitae
- Official transcript from your medical school
- Dean’s letter
- Three letters of recommendation
- USMLE and/or COMLEX scores
Applicants for fellowship programs should refer to the fellowship section of our website for information on applying to these programs.
We participate in both the AOA Match and the NRMP Match.
Application Criteria
- Preference is given to graduates of US and renowned international medical schools.
- Graduated medical school within the past 4 years.
- Score a minimum:
USMLE Steps 1 and 2: 80 (two digit score) or 195 (three digit score)
COMLEX Steps 1 and 2: 80 (two digit score) or 500-519 (three digit score)
First time pass is preferred. Applicants to Family Medicine and Internal Medicine Residencies need to have passed Steps 1 and 2 prior to the Rank Order List deadline. - Have applied for and received or are soon to receive ECFMG certification, if applicable.
- Preference will be given to US Citizens and US Permanent Residents. We may occasionally consider a few select candidates for visa sponsorship.
We do not offer observerships or externships.
